Proving the yet-to-be-adopted conventional wisdom that southern boys won’t support a Mormon, a tidal wave of South Carolina College Republicans declared their support (in writing!) for Sen. John McCain.
A Straight Talk release states: “Eleven College Republican Leaders from South Carolina have joined Straight Talk America to form the South Carolina Youth Advisory Committee. The committee will spread Senator McCain’s message of support for 2006 Republican candidates across the state’s college campuses.
