Dear Fellow College Republican,

I want to take this opportunity to say how blessed and humble I am of all the support I have received from so many of the College Republicans of this great State. I am especially excited for the upcoming convention and election. Unfortunately, I have seen an organization torn apart by the past College Republican elections and I feel it is now time to come together as one united coalition of College Republicans. This is an exciting moment in the history of College Republican politics in Michigan and I am very proud that I am a part of this movement.

This weekend, I was informed that Justin Zatkoff will announce his intention to run against me for Chair either early Sunday or Monday. Although I do not agree with his decision, I wish Justin the best of luck and I look forward to a competitive campaign.

In closing, as we gear up for CPAC, I am looking forward to spending time with all of you in Washington D.C. Please take a moment if you haven’t to check out my new updated website www.stevejapinga.com. As always, I will continue to run a pro-active campaign and look forward to being the next Chair of the MFCRs. It is time to take this organization to the next level and together, we can do this.

Sincerely,

Steve Japinga

Candidate for MFCR Chair
