About TRUTH

No website has had a greater influence on American youth politics than TRUTH CAUCUS.

A “must-read for young Republicans and Democrats,” Truth Caucus (formerly known as CRNC Truth Caucus) is a website covering national current events.

TRUTH CAUCUS content has been featured on national political websites (liberal and conservative), including the Drudge Report, National Review Online, Crooks and Liars, Daily Kos, Michelle Malkin, and Wonkette…to name a few. (And newspapers from coast-to-coast.)

Started in 2004 by college republicans, the website took the young Republican world by storm throughout much of 2005, detailing the early days of the College Republicans fund-raising scandal and the unfolding of the organization’s national chairman race.

The website has graduated, and is fiercely independent.

TRUTH CAUCUS has made its way into several national political stories, and has been parodied, copied and gossiped about since its inception.

In 2005, Franklin Foer, editor of The New Republic, declared the website to be “cheeky.”

The “To Wit” section, tipping its cap to the forgotten sideshow days of Shakespeare, is one of the Web site’s signature traits of ephemera.

You can praise it, disagree with it, scream about it, love it or hate it. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore it.
